Taking Apart a Kodak DX3500 in 30ish seconds.

3:08PM, February 09, 2007 - [ Permalink]

A quick video of the disassembly of our trusty Kodak DX3500 which recently died after 14,000 photos. Rest in pieces, little camera, rest in pieces. Parts anyone?

You can find it on: YouTube. Google Video, and Video.ca. Take your pick and click!

The video was shot with my MacBook Pro's iSight camera and was edited using iMovie . I know, I know. Why didn't I use Final Cut Pro? Let's just say I'm slumming it - using iMovie so I can get familiar with it so I can answer questions about it.

iMovie, as an experienced Final Cut Pro user's point of few can be frustrating as you try to do things that you normally could in FCP, but can not in iMovie. On the flip side, iMovie *is* very simple to use - anyone can edit video with it.
