Oh, the pain.

Monday night, at badminton, I was on a serious roll. Last night at Kung Fu, we did two new things (for me), first up, a movement called the five kicks (or something like that) which consists of an inside crescent kick, an outside crescent kick that ends in a crane stance, then a short hopping kick/block, followed by the devastatingly impressively sounding flying tornado kick, again into crane stance, followed by a sun punch / front block combination.
The second, which isn't nearly as cool sounding, is the double leg sweep. I think we worked on this for maybe ten minutes solid. I find it hard because it is so low to the ground and my shoes prevent my feet from sweeping well.
After class, I get to the stairs to go up and my leg muscles were quite jello-like in abilities. Even now, my quads (muscles on the front of my thighs - you probably have them too) are *sore*. I'm pretty sure the leg sweeps are to blame.
Just thought I would share.
