Rosetta stopped working?

Rosetta stopped working on my MacBook Pro. No PPC applications would run, which certainly seemed pretty odd to me.
Eventually, I realized that it was *I* who caused it when I ran Monolingual (handy application that can strip extra unused languages out of your Mac). I used it to remove the unwanted languages *and* (here’s where I goofed) the PPC frameworks for applications, and apparently, important parts of Mac OS X.
What is the solution? Fortunately, it is pretty easy; I pulled out my MBP install disk and told it to do an Archive and Install. This moves your current OS installation into a directory, and installs a brand-spanking new copy of the Mac OS X in its place.
Then I re-installed the applications I broke, and then ran Monolingual again, this time only taking out 1.4 GB of unused languages.
I didn’t loose any data in the process, although I certainly made backups, because you always make backups before doing anything like that. Sure, it is a Mac, but even Macs have bad days.
